We have something similar to this in the UK on a radio programme called "Desert Island Discs", where guests get to chose MUSIC to take with them, along with a luxury and some other things I can't remember. They are given only one book, and some would say it was more than enough - they get the Bible.
This is a no fair question really - we are naturally going to say Diana's books in first place. Let's be honest, is anyone brave enough to say otherwise on a DIANA PALMER message board???!!! Maybe the question should be, apart from each and every one of Diana's books (including the two rarest!), which OTHER authors' books would you take with you to a desert island? With that question in mind, and in no particular order, my answers are as follows:
J.K. Rowling (because somehow I've never had time to read Harry Potter! Surely on a desert island I could manage that?)
Lindsay McKenna (because her characters are honest to goodness heros and heroines trying to make a difference)
Cait London (because you've just GOT to have a cowboy or two - thinking of those Tallchiefs here!)
Nora Roberts (hmm, contentious one that because I know a lot of people here don't like her, but I love the Quinns, the Gallaghers, the witches and wizards)
Patricia D. Cornwell (because it couldn't hurt to remind yourself that even though you're on a desert island, there are still some people worse off!).
